- This selectivity is due to the difference in the way broadleaf plants and grasses metabolize the herbicide.
- The leaves and roots absorb Shreemin ( Amine salts) herbicide and is translocated to all parts of the plant.
- The herbicide mimics the plants natural growth harmone auxins and results in abnormal growth of the weeds and eventual death if the weeds.
