MODE OF ACTION:-
- Procyp is a combination insecticide which has the potent of Organophosphate and Pyrethroid group of insecticides.
- This acts as a acetylcholinesterase inhibitor leading to overstimulation the insect’s nervous system, causing paralysis and death.
- Since this product combines the benefits of an organophosphate (Profenofos) and a synthetic pyrethroid (Cypermethrin), it is highly effective against both chewing and sucking insects.
- It shows translaminar activity killing the insects on both sides of the leaves.
- It has Contact, Stomach, and Systemic Action( Profenofos acts systemically, entering the plant tissues, while Cypermethrin provides contact action, quickly paralyzing and killing pests).
- This insecticide is highly effective against those insects which has developed resistance against some insecticides.
- It provides fast knock down with long lasting effect.
- It demonstrate lower toxicity to non target organism and the environment.
